2024
JOB re-opened to the Connelly Theater for a limited commercial run. The extended run recouped its investment in five weeks and continues to play to sold-out houses through March 23rd.
Michael is directing Ethan Fuirst's monologue with collective movement, Dance Dance Revolution, at JACK NY, running from March 28th through April 1st.
Michael is directing a reading of Reid Pope's Holocaust Lit! at Fault Line Theatre in May.
Michael is directing the world premier of Ryan Spahn's Inspired by True Events Off-Broadway at Out of the Box Theatrics, the inaugural production in the theater's new permanent home. Previews begin early July.
2023
Michael directed the world premier of JOB by Max Wolf Friedlich starring Peter Friedman and Sydney Lemmon. A New York Times Critic's Pick, "New York's Buzziest Play" enjoyed a twice-extended, sold-out run at the Soho Playhouse.
Michael directed the world premier of Allison Snyder's The Campaign That Failed at the Tisbury Amphitheater as part of Martha Vineyard Playhouse's Summer 2023 Season.
As Associate General Manager at Evan Bernardin Productions, Michael served as principle general manager on the Off-Broadway permiers of Daughter of the Wicked and Love + Science at City Center / Manhattan Theater Club, supported the national tour of Madagascar the Musical, and consulted with writers and producers of numerous projects in development.
2022
Michael directed Clare Fuyoko Bierman's The Very Furious Kugel, as part of the Samuel French Off-Off Broadway Festival at Playwright's Horizons
Michael joined the team at Evan Bernardin Productions as an Associate General Manager / Development Assistant
Michael was the Associate Director to Joe Brancato on the Off-Broadway premier of Penguin Repertory's production of Mr. Parker by Michael McKeever
Michael supported the Company Management and General Management departments on the first national tour of Harper Lee's To Kill a Mockingbird throughout the rehearsal process in Manhattan and then tech/previews in Buffalo
